A response video to Covid-19 pandemic
DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT: This video is symbolic of how despite social distancing and isolation, we’re all experiencing it together. I chose to stage the piece at the ruins of a house that burned down and has fused with the natural landscape to allude to the feeling of how society has been disrupted by a powerful force. I also want the piece to feel hopeful and present the baking of a wholesome apple pie through individual actions to demonstrate how everyone doing their part will ultimately add up to something greater.
